Housed in the sixteenth-century Bassi-Rathgeb palazzo, the museum displays liturgical objects, images of worship and works from the Bergamo area, especially paintings of religious themes. The collection includes a piece by Lorenzo Lotto entitled “The Trinity”, painted around 1519 for the Confraternity of the Disciplines, which once hung in Bergamo’s Trinita' church that no longer stands today.
