Sibiu, the city located in the middle of the Romanian area known to many as Count Dracula’s domain, is anything but nightmarish. Also known as Hermannstadt, it is a remnant of the old rule by Saxony and its principal architecture and many specific buildings in the town and its surrounds reflect their multilayered origins.
