Of Lombard origins, the church features a single nave divided into three bays by two pointed arches, above a frescoed crypt. The structure, which took shape in the fifteenth century, assumed a Romanesque guise in 1915. Frescoes by Lorenzo Lotto dating back to 1525 can be seen next to the presbytery. The age-old name "White Well" comes from the circular white stone that, at the foot of the churchyard, indicates the site of the ancient well.
