Martin was made a noble of the Imperial Russian House of Romanov and knighted for photographic services to H.I.H the Grand Duchess of Russia and the Imperial Delegation.

As well as a Knight of Saint Stanislas (Imperial House of Romanov), Martin is also a Professed Knight of Saint Michael of the Wing and Knight of the Royal House of Portugal.
