Maury Place at Monument | Bed and Breakfast in Richmond VA

I am the innkeeper at a luxury Richmond VA bed and breakfast that overlooks our city's historic Monument Avenue. Travelers to our city can enjoy world class museums, great restaurants, and a thriving art and theater community. Our B&B is in a neighborhood location known as the "Museum District", within walking distance of fantastic restaurants and the Carytown shopping district. We are also just 1/2 mile from the Virginia Museum of fine Arts, which will be featuring the international exhibition "Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris" February 19 - May 15, 2011.

The 150th anniversary of the American Civil War is being celebrated 2011-2016, and Maury Place at Monument is central to many Civil War attractions and Civil War battlefields. The city of Richmond is rich with sites and attractions from all periods of American history from the Revolutionary War to modern times.

Maury Place is also central to the University of Richmond, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Union University, and the Union PSCE. We hope you can come to Richmond and enjoy our great city, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
