12 Days Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru-Amboseli-Tsavo West-East -Nairobi
Masai Mara game reserve is known for its great migration and the
exceptional population of Leopards, Lions, Cheetahs and the Thomson,s
gazelle. Lake Nakuru National park is the Bird's sanctuary due to the
fact that both the lesser and the greater flamingoes cover the entire
lake and it is also known for its big five except the Elephant,
Amboseli National park is known for its unique vegetation which has
been destroyed by the huge elephants which inhibit the park. Tsavo
East and west is divided by the Tsavo river which flows from west to
East through the National Park., this park is known for its varied
wildlife, rock climbing, good road system and mostly the Mzima spring
in Tsavo West.
Day 1: Nairobi-Masai Mara
Pick up from your hotel in the morning at 7:30 am and head west for Masai Mara game reserve for lunch at the campsite followed by afternoon game drive in the game reserve which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebras, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Masai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Days 2 : Masai Mara
A full day spent game viewing a cross the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wild life to be found in Kenya. Day 3 : Masai Mara
Morning game drive in Masai Mara with an afternoon optional visit to the Masai villages or nature walk with Masai guides telling stories, return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru.
Wake up for an early morning game drive followed by a late breakfast
at the camp as you depart for Lake Nakuru National park with your
lunch being served en route, arrive in Nakuru late in the afternoon
for dinner and overnight at Nakuru hotel.
DAY 5: Lake Nakuru-Amboseli.
Have your breakfast at the hotel followed by the morning game drive in
this unique park well known for its big five excluding the elephants,
it is as well known as the bird's sanctuary, it is called the bird's
sanctuary because the surface of the lake is covered by both the
greater and the lesser flamingoes, several other birds are also
available in the park, leave the park for Amboseli with lunch en route
arriving in Amboseli Late in the evening, both dinner and overnight at
the camp in Amboseli.
DAY 6: Amboseli.
After breakfast leave the camp for a whole day game drive where you
are assured to see and admire the very huge elephants at the park,
Amboseli is known for its unique vegetation which has been damaged by
the elephants, have your picnic lunch at the park followed by an
optional afternoon visit to the Masai village, be back to the camp for
dinner and overnight.
DAY 7: Amboseli
Full day of game viewing in the Park Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. The snows of the mountain form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most popular spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and host of plains game, creating Kenya's most sought after photographer's paradise. Meals and overnight at the camp.
DAY 8: Amboseli
After morning breakfast, proceed for your full day game drive with picnic lunch served in the park, afternoon optional to visit a Masai village for traditional dances, dinner and overnight at the campsite
DAY 9 : Amboseli-Tsavo West
Early morning breakfast then proceed on with your last game drive in Tsavo west as you leave the camp for Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for lunch at the camp, afternoon game-drive in tsavo west National park, dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 10 : Tsavo West-Tsavo East
After breakfast visit the Mzima Springs enroute to Tsavo East National Park where Hippos and crocodile can be seen swimming in the clear waters. Afternoon game drive in Tsavo East National Park, all meals and overnight at campsite
Day 11: Tsavo East
After morning breakfast, proceed for your full day game drive with picnic lunch served in the park visit lugardfalls, afternoon optional visit to Tsavo orphans, dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 12: Tsavo East-Nairobi.
After breakfast proceed for your last game drive as you leave the park for a journey back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
