This safari gives clients an opportunity to discover the best of the 3 countries. It starts with the wildlife and birds in Akagera National Park in the east with its beautiful wetland savannah ,continues and ends with a cultural and historical visit of Burundi . The highlight of the safari tracking the mountain gorillas in Parc National des Volcans (PNV) in the Virunga volcanoes in the northwest. Rwanda has ten habituated gorilla families and tracking most groups in the afro-montane forest usually takes only a few hours. You can also climb a volcano; visit the Diana Fossey tombs with other gorillas plus the endangered golden monkeys. You continue to Nyungwe, in southern Rwanda, a massive afro-montane forest, the largest in East and Central Africa. The forest has 13 primate species including chimpanzee and large groups of Black and White colobus monkeys. Other attractions are 278 bird species and a variety of orchids and butterflies. -Burundi has not a big number of Beautiful landscapes, forests, lakes, beaches, traditions, etc. and ......millions of smiles from the friendly natives of Burundi.
This is still Africa at its purest!!
Enjoy the drummers, who can entertain and show you how drumming should be done. There are no other African drummers like these men and boys, who show that their drum is their heart and soul.
