Lumbini- The birth place of lord Buddha

Lumbini holds a sacred place among Hindus and Buddhists being a birth place of Lord Buddha. A treasure-trove of ancient ruins and antiquities dating back to pre-Christian era, it attracts many travelers who come here to learn about the ancient past. The place described as a beautiful garden during the times of Budhha still holds the same charm and beauty. It is a popular Buddhist pilgrimage site and thousand of devotees throng the place all around the year.

Chitwan National Park

A UNESCO world heritage site, Chitwan national park is spread across a vast area in the Nepal’s Terai lowlands. Home to a variety of flora and fauna, it is a must visit if you are a nature lover and an adventure freak. A jeep safari through the park would offers a chance to spot a number of wildlife including tigers, wild elephants, rhinos and crocodiles. Bhaktapur

Kathmandu

Upper Mustang

Located in the north of Annapurna range, it is a semi-independent kingdom which was once a part of Tibet. One can see the undisturbed Tibetan culture by visiting this place. It was once used by salt caravans to cross Himalayas to enter Nepal. Trek through the rocky landscapes of the mountains and explore the numerous cave dwellings of the place.

Patan

Nagarkot

At an altitude of about 2000 m, Nagarkot offers the best scenic view of the snow-capped peaks of Himalayas from Dhaulagiri to Kanchenjunga. On a clear day, you can watch about Mt. Everest, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Langtang.
