Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy renowned Chef Geoffrey Zakarian's modern approach to American cuisine in the luxe Art Deco setting of The Lambs Club. In the sophisticated setting that is reminiscent of the 20s & 30s, you and your friends can enjoy delicious cuisine, paired with red and white wines selected by Head Sommelier Aj Ojeda Pons. Mr. Pons, who recently earned The Lambs Club the prestigious Two Glass award from Wine Spectator, will join guests to provide tasting notes about paired wines and overall instruction on wine and food pairings. Recently praised by The New Yorker & named a top Reader’s Choice by Food and Wine Magazine, The Lambs Club is known for its fabulous New American food and “magnificent and innovative cocktails.” Exciting raffle items also await! 6:30-8:30PM. http://leakeandwatts.givezooks.com/events/a-taste-of-the-lambs-club. General Admission $175 & VIP $500. Other ticket options available.
VIP Reception: Kicking off the evening with a stir and a shake, VIP guests will have the opportunity to personally visit with the creators and the celebrated Head Mixologist of the Lambs Club. Through a hands-on demonstration, VIP guests will enjoy learning how to make their own signature cocktail and how to create spectacular cocktails at home. They will also have the opportunity to sample premier canapés and cocktails.
Following the main event, guests may continue the festivities and merriment at the Mezzanine Bar of the Lambs Club. A private space will be set aside for Leake & Watts guests, where they can enjoy the music of new and emerging Jazz musicians.
Named after America's first professional theatrical club, The Lambs Club is located at The Chatwal Hotel, which was originally opened in 1905 as home to the prestigious Lambs. Since the club's founding, there have been more than 6,000 Lambs, with an elite roster of American theater and film stars such as Maurice, Lionel and John Barrymore, Irving Berlin, Cecil B. DeMille, David Belasco, Charlie Chaplin, George M. Cohan, Douglas Fairbanks, John Wayne, Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein II, Spencer Tracy and Fred Astaire.
