Aleko Africa Tours and inspiration originated in early 2010 whilst on safari, sitting around a camp fire one night gazing at the stars. From humble beginnings and a deep rooted passion for Africa's wildlife and scenic beauty, our dream was to share this passion with the world.

Today, Aleko Africa Tours is based in Kenya and continues to share this passion, delivering special bush safaris, scenic and self-drive tours since 2012 at the top safari destinations Africa has to offer.

Lemosho route 7 days 6 nights kilimanjaro climbing tours.

DAY 1: LONDROSS GATE-MTI MKUBWA CAMP
Enjoy an early breakfast from your hotel then drive from Arusha to Boma la Ng'ombe then turn to Londorossi Gate on the western side of Kilimanjaro. After formality registration at Londrosi gate your driver will drive you to Lemosho Glades where from there trekking will start through the rain forest to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Dinner and overnight at Mti mkubwa campsite ( Big tree) Meals plan: breakfast /lunch & dinner

DAY 2: MTI MKUBWA-SHIRA I CAMP
After breakfast, continue with ascending across the dense rain forest, climbing is gradually become steeper before reaching a wide moorland zone. Proceed toward Game & Marshall Valley for Lunch Break. Then cross a high altitude desert plateau Shira Caldera to Shira Cave (on request this can be omitted). Overnight SHIRA I CAMP Dinner and overnight Shira 1 Campsite.

DAY 3: SHIRA I CAMP-SHIRA II CAMP
After breakfast at Shira Cave proceeds gently east across the Shira Plateau and the Shira Cathedral towards Shira Hut on the moorland meadow; It is an excellent place in this route for acclimatization, while gaining the altitude slowly. Overnight Camping at Shira 2 camp: Dinner and overnight Shira 2 Campsite.

DAY 4: SHIRA 2 CAMP-BARANCO CAMP
From Shira Hut turn eastward and continue climbing towards the Lava Tower while getting great views of the spectacular of Great Barranco walls then down to Barranco camp for dinner and Overnight at Barranco CAMP: Dinner and overnight Barranco Campsite.

DAY 5: BARANCO CAMP-BARAFU CAMP
Breakfast, continue with the climbing through stones and sand towards Karanga valley for lunch after lunch proceed to Barafu camp /base camp, enjoy your hot lunch. after lunch your advice to relax and sleep early after dinner since you will have to wake up at the midnight preparing for final attempt to the summit:
Dinner and overnight Barafu Campsite.

DAY 6: BARAFU CAMP-UHURU PEAK-MWEKA CAMP
After preparing for the summit you will have early breakfast then your guide will shortly brief you and then you will start ascending the most demanding and a bit hard part of your trip towards the peak between glaciers to UHURU PEAK at 5,896m the highest point in Africa. It is here that you can have that feeling. I have Conquered Kilimanjaro the highest mountain of Africa. At the summit it is not recommended to stay there long before you start your descend back to Barafu camp for Branch lunch and rest for sometime. Then descend to Mweka camp at the edge of the rainforest, for overnight: Dinner and overnight Mweka Campsite.

DAY 7: MWEKA CAMP-MWEKA GATE-ARUSHA/MOSHI
After breakfast, descend through rain forest to Mweka gate where for those who make to the summit will be awarded a diploma while enjoying picnic lunch there after you will meet your driver and drive back to Arusha or Moshi .drop off at your hotel for hot shower and relax with good memories of the highest point in Africa. Dinner and overnight Arusha center tourist inn.
