Andersson’s Camp is situated close to Etosha National Park, Namibia

A former farmstead has been tastefully rebuilt in consideration of known eco standards which are suggested by the government of Namibia and the goal is to meet allsSustainable standards during operation of the lodge.

The main lodge area is fronting onto a waterhole this to allow observation of the visiting abundant wildlife population that cycles through on a 24-hour schedule. .

From here twenty eco tented guest units radiate outwards – mostly secluded in the mopane woodland so typical of the area. The tents are a mix of stone, canvas and wood. tents do have a private patio to enable viewing of the watering hole and to watch the wildlife moving past.

Namibia is the first African Nation that has introduced several years ago, a complete Government sponsored Eco Program. The Eco Rules are actually laid down in an Eco Manual. Enforcement is accomplished by a Parent like effort, gentle persuasion, YES BY THE GOVERNMENT. What an accomplishment, could it be that as a former German Colony the Germans assisted?? The middle video is the one to watch with the elephants, lions, and giraffes within 100 feet of each other, & at the very end I think an antelope wanders up to the watering hole. Be careful antelope!
