The evening will feature Cocktails, Dinner, Silent Auction, and an Award Program honoring Levi Strauss & Co. and the Levi Strauss Foundation and Emmy nominated host and award-winning author Padma Lakshmi. The dinner will be followed by an After Party featuring DJ Chelsea Leyland and a surprise performance, with open bar and gourmet treats. The Bowery Hotel, 335 Bowery, NYC.

In 2004, two college students founded Mercado Global to address the debilitating poverty they witnessed on a trip to rural Latin America.
