Free is good and in Annapolis the free things are great. Check out eCruiser. Historic Annapolis is a walking city but when you don’t want to walk call the eCruiser. The fun, hip, and cool 100% Electric Low Speed Vehicles (LSV) are tourist and eco-friendly. Drivers work on “tips only.” There is also the free Annapolis Circulator that will take people to a variety of locations in the city.
And, there are more cool things to do for free. Visit the Annapolis Museum near the City Dock and see the 6-foot-by-6-foot model of Annapolis and other exhibits. One of the newest exhibits is just steps from the dock on 43 Pinkney Street at Hogs Head, a living history interpretation center where one can meet people from 18th-century Annapolis and learn how they lived. Talk to Lizzy, the rat catcher, and Mary, the tavern maid, along with other Annapolis people of yore.
On the first Sunday of the month, from May through October, check out the First Sunday Arts Festival. Wander from West Street to Church Circle and revel in the celebration with craft vendors, artist, musical acts and street performers. At other times of the year check for free concerts at various venues in the city.
Don’t miss the Wednesday night races from April to September when at the first gun (6:05 pm.) more than 100 sailboats race across the water around several marks and return to the Annapolis Yacht Club via Spa Creek. In Annapolis free is great and fun.

Annapolis is a place we can drive to fairly easily from Philadelphia. We have visited Annapolis many times over the years and have always enjoyed it!
