Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) will take place October 10-14, 2013 in The Hamptons.

Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) was founded to celebrate Independent film and to introduce a spectrum of international films and filmmakers. The 21st annual HIFF will take place October 10-14, 2013. The Festival is traditionally held at venues from Montauk to Southampton and attracts approx 18,000 visitors annually. This year the Southampton Center, at the old Parrish Art Museum, and Robert Wilson’s Watermill Center will be also participating. At least 20 countries are represented in the approx 100 films showcased each year. HIFF’S 2012 edition earned a total of 7 Academy Awards for ARGO, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, AMOUR, SEARCHING FOR SUGARMAN and PAPERMAN. Among those expected to attend the Festival are: Anna Paquin, Bruce Dern, Ralph Fiennes, Renee Zellweger, Dakota Fanning, David Duchovny, Helena Bonham Carter, Edgar Wright, Kevin Connolly, Will Forte, Timothy Hutton, Amy Ryan, Richard Curtis, Adepero Oduye, Brie Larson, Dane DeHaan, David Oyelowo, Jonathan Franzen, Paul Dano, Ralph Macchio, Richard Curtis, Scott Haze, Spike Jonze and Joe Wright.
