Planning a Trip to Australia- Places You Need to See

Australia is one of the most naturally beautiful countries in the world. The vast Australian Outback is often considered to be one of the biggest tourist attractions. However, if you are interested in visiting this beautiful country, you need to plan your trip properly. Many people are often unable to see all the sights in this beautiful country; creating a proper itinerary that highlights your journey through the country, along with all the major tourist attractions is key. Here are some of the places that you absolutely need to see in Australia:

The Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road is often considered to be a civil engineering marvel. The road stretches for almost 243 kilometres and moves through the southeastern coast of the country. The road connects the cities of Allansford and Torquay in Australia. Soldiers who returned from the First World War in 1919 originally constructed the Great Ocean Road. Many soldiers continued to return to the country and work on the road until 1932. After completion, the road was dedicated to the soldiers who were killed in the War. Due to its size, the Great Ocean Road is often regarded as the largest war memorial in the world.

The road itself winds through varying terrain throughout the country, and often leads to some of the prominent landmarks in Australia. The most notable landmark that you can see from the Great Ocean Road is the Twelve Apostles, twelve limestone stack formations, known as one of the most popular tourist attractions in the world. There are many private companies that plan Great Ocean Road and Grampians tours, making it easy for visitors to observe these amazing landmarks up close with protection and safety.

Grampians National Park

The Grampians is a series of rugged mountain ranges made out of sandstone. Forests that are very rich in wildlife surround these mountainous ranges. Some of the world’s most exotic animals are found in these forests. As a result of the region’s popularity, there is a vast network of walking tracks that pass through these forests.

If you are a wildlife explorer and would like to observe the wildlife of this region up close, you can go on a hiking trail through the forest. Along the way, you will see cascading waterfalls, beautiful flower displays, and some of the most breathtaking panoramic views that you could ever hope to see. The Grampians National Park is an exotic natural reserve that allows you to take a close look at the natural beauty of Australia. Taking a day tour through the park is an amazing experience.
