The Museum of Fine Arts in Hanoi, Vietnam

Vietnam’s Museum of Fine Arts is situated in 2 heritage buildings via the street from the Temple of Literature in Hanoi. The museum house a great number of items ranging from ancient lacquer works, pottery, wood and steel sculptures.

The artwork that hangs the walls of the Fine Arts Museum tell many stories of Vietnam’s past. A walk through the (empty) halls gives visitors new perspectives into the culture of the Vietnamese. Symbols of the culture adorn the museum’s many rooms.

Tourists with Vietnam travel guide visit Hanoi, can visit the National Museum of Fine Arts (Bao Tang My Thuat Viet Nam) from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:00 to noon and 13:30 to 16:30. Admission is 20,000 Dong (1.00 USD). The museum is situated at 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, via the way from the Temple of Literature.
