As an avid traveler from a young age, I have visited some of the most amazing countries and met some of the most special people that show off how amazing the human race is. 

Whether it is enjoying an exclusive beach get away that a local has shown me too flying high above New York in a helicopter, these experiences have gone on to shape me as a person. 

Favorite Place

I must admit that although I dont say it very often, I do have a favorite country and that is Vietnam, although I have only spent 4-6 months in the country it astounded me at how welcoming the locals were. 

But as with anything this comes down to how you are as a person. 

The cultural differences between the east and west (or even between east / east or west / west) can be a stark reminder to how we should behave when we visit these amazing places. 

But as a white english person, who was polite and embarrassed himself more than once trying to speak the local dialect, this by far gave me a good base to start conversations on, I was not considered rude and infact was welcomed warmly and with great delight when I would get a simple saying as "cafe den" (black coffee) wrong or used the wrong dialect for the town I was in

I also love a good beach, whether it is in the tropics or eastern europe, there is never not a good time to go to a beach. 

Although a lot of people go for the Sun, Sand and Sea style beaches there are so many other kinds, Salmon Fishing on a beach in Alaska is one of the most amazing activities I have ever taken part in, not something you would necessarily do on a beach in the Bahamas
