Any one got a suggestion of where to eat in Frankfurt?

I am staying at the Best Western Hotel Domicil and have never been before! Anything to see on an evening or anywhere to avoid?

Eat your way along Fressgass -- translation Eating Street. It's a pedestrian only street lined with cafes and restaurants in all prices.

Sample Apfelwein, or hard cider, made from local apples. It's as popular as beer, especially in the fall harvest season.

You don't mention when you are going -- but if it's soon, you'll bump into the Christmas markets. Vendors set up booths in town squares (there's more than one in Frankfurt) selling beautiful hand-made ornaments and other items, and there's usually strolling musicians.

Visit the Old Jewish Cemetery downtown, which dates from the 1600s. Several members of the Rothschild banking family are buried here.

Walk along the riverfront. Take a river cruise. Enjoy. It's a great city.
Hello Evelyn
Thank you for the advice i will get a map and find Fressgass - sounds wonderful. I am going on Monday next week so pretty soon! I arrive around 17:00 and have the evening free so i will have a wander around and explore!
