I just read that "Major domestic carriers on Thursday rolled back their most recent fare increase on flights favored by business travelers."  But because the online fares seem to change every five minutes, can somebody tell how me how anyone would know if there really has been a fare hike or rollback?

Delta Airlines: New premium seats will be called "economy comfort."  What should we call the other economy seats?

Glad you were able to rebook. Now let's hope your Groundhog Day flight doesn't get grounded by more snow.

As of now I am rebooked for Feb 2nd. I think this Skyteam folks panicked and cancelled all flights out of JFK/EWR to Amsterdam & CDG or so I notice on expertflyer flightstats.

Sam: Dont do facebook, and I doubt DL offers it on international leg. The provider is gogoinflight. I know that Google had sponsored free wifi in December on all DL flights that were wifi enabled.

Anil, let's take the glass-is-half-full view. Delta has cancelled flights, but it's offering free in-flight Facebook connections.

As of now, Delta, KLM & Air France all show cancellations out of JFK for Tuesday 1st Feb :(

Another snowstorm and another nightmare. This season has been miserable. Delta yet again proactively cancelled an international flight from JFK to Amsterdam, while one to Heathrow is still on - Go figure. Now I have to scramble.

What's more gutsy -- an Indian government banning the smuggling of tiger parts, or Ryan Air charging over $50 for a boarding pass? I don't ask this to be facetious, either.

According to this newspaper in India , the Environment & Forest Minister in India, wants to revoke licenses of two private airlines who are indulging in smuggling of endangered species including tiger parts. That is a gutsy move if it succeeds.

Ryan Air is nuts.
