Tokyo has a lot of great sights and most of the tourist sights are covered pretty well in the guide books.I'll try to add my recommendations and also add some budget tricks that I didn't find listed in the guidebooks.

XL Airways has had some amazing prices for summer travel this year. I wrote a thread on how to find and purchase those fares. I've been a big fan of Priceline and especially their company Booking.com.I assumed since Agoda was owned by Priceline too, it would be good as well.
