Book on the undiscovered Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico

I'm writing a book on the undiscovered Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. Any
ideas, leads, suggestions, etc. will be greatly appreciated.
I'm mostly interested in unusual and unknown places and things. Also would
like tourism, PR & lodging info and contacts.
