stay at Napier's premier wine themed B&B in Hawkes Bay New Zealand. wine tour guide / foodie in a beautiful property walking distance to two of NZ's oldest wineries and fine dining. This is a world class wine region with GREAT SYRAH, Bordeaux Blends, and many white varietals. Climate like Napa/ Bordeaux, Margaret River, 39 degrees South of the equator. Terroir extraordinaire!

Just thought I might remind members of the Wine Travel Guides blog in case you haven't looked at in a while - whereas the main site only covers Europe (mainly France), the blog is worldwide. The latest post I've written is on Constantia in the Cape winelands from where I've just returned - really brilliant place for wine tourism. Previous posts have been on Chablis/France, Vienna/Austria, Primorska/Slovenia etc. All comments appreciated!

Growing vines since 1838, it's one of California's oldest wine countries. It's also the most endangered of the state's AVAs. Today on The World on Wheels it's a new report on the Inland Empire wine industry: http://tinyurl.com/27tdbvu
