There is no shortage of niche travel labels out there – ecotourism, responsible travel, sustainable travel, ethical travel, experiential travel, mindful travel, real travel, good travel, pro-poor travel, community-based tourism, local travel etc. I suspect, though, that more than just a few of them are either meaningless or confusing to travel consumers. And we know that some of these labels have lost their potency as a result of unscrupulous entrepreneurs' false…

Nice to see you back, Ethan! Did you get the email about our Tripatini tweet-up in NYC July 28?
Hope all is well and that you have a great holiday weekend....
To get the most out of Go-Lo, you may want to also take a few minutes to join several other of our many groups which you might find of particular interest, such as Media Only, Eco/Sustainable Tourism, The Book Club, Biking/Mountain Biking, Volunteer Vacations, Eating/Drinking the World, New York State, and various others covering many topics and most other destinations throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world.
FYI, on your profile you'll see a blue bar marked "Text Box," which you can turn into a box containing not just text but also photos and even videos about yourself and your writing (we would of course also be very grateful if you have the opportunity to cover Go-Lo in any of your outlets).
Finally, if you would, please be so kind as to spread the word among your travel-interested friends, family, and colleagues. It's fast and easy to use our "INVITE" function above left on the navigation bar to enter e-mails (even your whole list at once!).
We wish you the best of luck over the rest of 2009 and beyond, both personally and professionally, and look forward to hearing much more from you...
