Pumpkins and Pies

Autumn with its scintillating fall colors and quirky traditions is time when the 'Zombies'’ * rule the favorites chart. It is Halloween time and my first in the USA. Though the big day is on October 31st and would be missing out the 'Ghostly Greenwich Village' parade of New York. I am in California at present.

Heavy weight traveling

I have been plane hopping from San Francisco to Denver, to Houston, Atlanta and finally New York. The flights have been uneventful except for the crazy crowds at Atlanta. This was result of delays, thanks to a stormy weather along the track from Houston to Atlanta and sitting it out figuring to eat or carry food packets on flight.



The crowded aisle and the wait inside the craft is probably due to charges on luggage. This was more prominent in Atlanta to New York flight and the going… Continue

Blippy Balboa

California is on our yearly travel route, meet the children, and every year California lives up to its reputation as the sunshine state. An added bonus, especially for someone coming from the verticality of Hong Kong, are the rolling golden hills and open spaces. As my husband commented ‘You can stretch your arms and not hit someone’.
