Banteay Srey, Angkor's 'Women's Temple'

Though everything is made of stone, one can believe, that it is a soft sponge, unless touches it.

Banteay Srey is thrifty and did not lose any of its decoration for in thousand years.

Among all temples in Cambodia Banteay Srey kept its stone carving to the best advantage.

This place is worth visiting at daybreak. Not Angkor Wat, where the huge crowd is gathered, but Banteay Srey. Because it is not an excursion, it is a date.
