THE WORLD AT FIT
The glass window to look at the world from and the place where each year global tourism industry interacts are found in Buenos Aires. Since 1997, FIT – organized by the Argentine Association of Tourism and Travel Agencies (Asociación Argentina de Agencias de Viajes y Turismo, AAAVYT), Buenos Aires Association of Tourism and Travel Agencies (Asociación de Agencias de Viajes y Turismo de Buenos Aires, AVIABUE) and Ferias Argentinas S.A.- was positioned as one of the most important Tourism Trade Fairs, together with FITUR (Madrid) and ITB (Berlin.)

The leading characters of the sector that renew the offer and tendencies of the business in an innovative context meet in the heart of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, in La Rural, Predio Ferial.

Two thousand wholesalers, tour operators, carrier companies, hotels & accommodation, events, official tourism organizations, travel agencies, Convention & Visitors Bureau and media of more than a half hundred countries participate in the Fair.

In its fourteenth edition (2009), FIT received 82,702 people, 32,175 of whom were professionals of the activity.
