ISLAND ROUTES IMPRESSES WITH SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE

Island Routes’ customer service commended by three industry experts

 

Montego Bay – June 13, 2016 – Island Routes Caribbean Adventures continues to set the standard as partners, customers and a leading industry association commend the company for its excellence in customer service. The World’s Leading Caribbean Attraction Company[1] was recently presented with Appleton Estate’s inaugural award for customer service, four TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence awards, whilst one of its Tour Specialists, Altinea Patterson was named Tourism Employee of the Year by the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA). 

 

Last week marked Appleton Estate’s inaugural award ceremony recognizing Tour Operators and staff for their work throughout the year. The famous rum producer awarded a number of its staff at the event and also commended Island Routes, naming the company Best Tour Operator for Customer Service. Though Island Routes has always focused on customer service, a recent survey by the company of more than 1200 people from the US and Canada, found that 34% value customer service and convenience, above price and peer reviews, cementing the company’s focus on the guest experience.

Island Routes was also celebrating at the weekend, as one of its employees, Altinea Patterson, was named Tourism Employee of the Year at the JHTA’s 55th Anniversary Awards Luncheon. Patterson was awarded for her exceptional work as an Island Routes Tour Specialist at Beaches Ocho Rios. A deserving winner of the award, Patterson always strives to make her guests’ experience unforgettable and uphold Island Routes’ customer service standards. “Altinea is truly remarkable and a testament to Island Routes. The energy and passion she brings to her customers every day is outstanding and we are extremely grateful to have such quality within our team,” commented Shields.

 

The company was also recently awarded four Certificate of Excellence Awards by TripAdvisor for its operations in Montego Bay and Ocho Rios in Jamaica, as well as St Lucia and the Turks and Caicos islands. The awards are given to attraction providers that consistently receive great traveller reviews on the TripAdvisor site.[2]
