Delhi is one of the beautiful cities of India. It is not only the capital Of India but also shopping capital of India. It has a rich cultural diversity due to which it has become a shopping hub. It has become the favourite shopping destination. From traditional to modern contemporary items you can find anything here.

The two main shopping markets immensely popular are

1)      Chandni Chowk

2)      Connaught Place

3)      Palika Bazar

 

1) Chandni Chowk

It is one of the oldest yet traditional market. It is the epitome of Mughal era and you can explore the traditional jewelry and ethnic wear here. Moreover it has emerged as the biggest wholesale market. The bridal lehengas of this market are quite famous. You can also enjoy the street chats, local eateries and snacks here.

2) Connaught Place

This market was built during the British rule in India. It was built in 1920 with the purpose to promote trade and commerce. It has become business center of North India in present era. There are two circles in it inner and outer. There are many banks, airlines and travel agent office here. Many prominent luxurious hotels are found here. You can also enjoy delicious cuisines here after a tiring day of shopping.

3) Palika Bazar

This is the best market to do bargaining. It is an underground market. You can shop here for garments and electronic gadgets at low prices. This market has become a craze for college students.
