Even though there are many man-made wonders present in the world, people always run behind the scintillating beautiful environment. The pleasant climate and calm ambience that the surreal places offer could not be compared with any artificial wonders. It is always said that Mother Nature carries a special divine power that helps the stressed minds to relax and enjoy some moments. India is the only place where people could find several emerald tourist destinations encompassed with marvellous resources of nature. Hundreds of travellers flock to the nation not only to learn various aspects of Indian culture and tradition but also to enchant the beguiling beauty of the serene places. Not only the 29 states of the nation is popular for providing enchanting views but also the 9 union territories are well-renowned for the same. Andaman and Nicobar Islands is one of the prominent union territories of India which is famously known as a fabulous tourist destination not only among domestic travellers but also with international tourists. Annually thousands of travel enthusiast flock to the region to enjoy its scintillating beauty. Situated on the coast of Bay of Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Island is comprised of nearly 575 islands and out of them, only 32 have been inhabited. More than its mind-blowing beauty it is the cerulean seas and silver-lined beaches that propels the travel enthusiast to avail of tour packages. From my school days, I am fond of beaches. During weekends I used to visit the beaches either with my friends or with my families. After getting the job we friends decided to visit the iconic archipelago of India called Andaman and Nicobar Islands. For making our journey more intriguing and exciting we decided to avail of the services from Andaman Tour Travel in Kerala. As we are residing permanently in Chennai they gave us the facility to purchase their services via online mode. The packages also included airfares and hence it reduced our burden.

On reaching the Indian archipelago the cool breeze enriched with scintillating aroma helped us to maintain the vibes. Our tour guide took us to the pre-booked hotel and after relaxing for a few hours we started with sight exploration. As per the itinerary, our tour guide wanted us to take to mind-blowing historic places but due to our interest towards the sun-kissed beaches, we pleaded our tour guide to take us to the pristine beaches. Therefore he made a slight change in the itinerary and took us for a ride to sun-kissed beaches. More than the scenic places the stupendous island comprises of eye-soothing beaches. It is not possible for me to explain the fascinating features of all the beaches hence I would share some of the vital factors related to the most prominent beaches. They are as follows.

Elephant Beach

Elephant Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the entire Andaman and Nicobar Island. Words are insufficient to express the astounding beauty of the beach. Situated in one of the largest islands of Andaman and Nicobar, Havelock Island is known to an exquisite tourist destination. There are many features that make the island beautiful and famous. It shelters a major portion of coral reefs and vast varieties of amphibians. Does anybody know how the beach got the name Elephant beach? It is neither because the beach carries the shape of an elephant nor it protects any monument resembling the shape of an elephant. Years ago elephants from the nearby forest used to visit the beach to quench their thirst and the young elephants used to bathe in the crystal cool water. And this is how the beach got the name. Moreover, the beach offers ample opportunities for practising the wide array of beach activities. What makes the beach so popular is it provides an excellent facility to walk through the waters and enjoy the beauty of the underlying marine world. You may be surprised by the above sentence. But it is true that it is one of the few beaches where people are allowed to walk and such activity is named as ‘sea walking’ or ‘helmet walking’. People who are physically and mentally strong and do not suffer from any kinds of diseases are mostly welcomed for practising the same.

Radhanagar Beach

Radhanagar Beach is another captivating beach in Havelock Island of Andaman and Nicobar Island. It is one of the cleanest beaches across the globe. Due to its serenity and cleanliness, the beach has been adorned with a title as ‘7th best beach in Asia by Time Magazine’. Not only travel enthusiast but also newly married couples gush to the beach to celebrate their most romantic moments with dear ones. It offers vast chances for travellers to enjoy the pristine beauty of the beach. The most popular beach activities practised over there are snorkelling, scuba diving, swimming, sunbathing and many more. If you are afraid of indulging in aqua venture activities, you are free to enjoy the alluring charm by strolling through the hot sand beds. Enchant the beauty of the varied amplitude of tides hitting the shores by sipping different flavoured juices and tender coconut water and also you can fill your tummy with spicy snacks. Apart from enthralling activities, you can also practise yoga for revitalising your tired souls and body.

There are many more luring beaches could be seen on the island. After spending some quality time at Havelock Island we started our sightseeing which included destinations such as Cellular Jail, Chatham sawmill, and Chidiya Tapu and so on. After reading the above paragraphs if you feel to explore the island, you can contact the Andaman Tour Travel. They curatetour packagesto Andaman for the people from Kolkata also.
