Food and travel go together and no matter where you go, the culinary experience is always a good way to understand the local culture. So here’s a list of 10 countries that your palate would really enjoy!Eat up!

1. Thailand

Influenced by the unique flavors and food preparation techniques of India, China and Oceania, Thai cuisine is a tangy fusion of the best ingredients.

2. Greece

From olives to oven baked bread, to rosy tomatoes and Mediterranean octopus, the true taste of Greece is about fresh, wholesome produce.

From back-alley dumpling stands to upscale diner halls, Chinese specialities can please anyone’s taste buds.

From fine cheese and sparkling wines to snails and baguettes, the French are notorious for their fully – fledged cuisine.

Best in Barcelona, Catalan cooking has gained the approval of foodies from around the globe.

The only quibble I have with this list is that it doesn't have my country -- Canada. Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver are fab restaurant cities.

I would also add turkey to the list, changing the list to a nice even dozen!
