Yes, I would like to learn more about Eastern Europe. I put together small group, in-depth tours, and Poland would be a good destination to consider. Is it possible to rent a villa in a convenient location from which to go on day trips? That is my typical M.O. -- rent cars and take off each day to explore. I do it in Tuscany and France now, and would like to find other locations for this type of travel. It is mostly self-guided; however a city guide is helpful for certain points of interest.

That is great, Margaret, and thanks for bringing Anna on board.  I think our members will be very interested to hear about Gdansk, as it is not a well known part of Poland for North Americans in particular (which is half of our membership).
