Hello David, Looks like I might not make it to WTM in the end. Let's stay in touch, sure we will manage to meet at another tourism business event coming up. Cheers Florian
Hi David, Things in the Biggest Little are great except for the weather at the moment. I mean, we have the nation's highest unemployment rate and the usual incompetent government, but nobody's tried to take away our Del's or the PawSox yet, so it's all good. :-) How are you?
Hi Dave, hope your doing well! Yes.. I've been relocated for the company to NJ... Of coarse I'm missing my over 40 beaches, 60 dive sites and the warm weather.. ;)
I'm still new at this so I'm browsing around from time to time. I miss Miami beach and Curaçao. Yes we should meetup. When are you coming to the North East?
Hi David,
Of course i remember you--great to see you again. This is great, I didn't realize this was your gig. Good job!
Haven't been down as far south as where you are for some time, but not for lack of wanting... especially when it hits February around here. Keep in touch, man!

Hi David, many thanks for featuring my book in the new (first) Newsletter. What a nice surprise! In reading my profile, I notice that I'm a "glove-trotting octogenarian"--could have fooled me, since my collection of gloves is long gone. And I pride myself on my nit-picking editorial skills!
David, we still have to write that book! Also, did you see my comments about my logo picture. Am I going to confuse people? It's all over my site.
Great picture, isn't it!
On another note: can we add my site to Eating/Drinking. It's www.globalfoodie.com. Thank you. Weren't you doing the dessert chapter?

Hi, sure, no probl;em about the brain picking. Regarding writers with recent knowledge, do you know Thalya Cunningham ? She just visited Brunei and said she was writing for Go-Lo's blog, as well as a magazine.

Hi David,--Thank you for your comment. I was introduced to this site through a friend and hope that over time I can contribute to this community.
Hi David: I'm still working my way thru this, so be patient. Yep, I'd love to do the Hard Rock slots tourney; # of entrants, where from, size of pots, upcoming tournaments, etc? Will get PR contact tomorrow unless you have and the in and out idea works - it is about 2 miles from my hse. # words, template, etc?
As to cruising, I'd like to see where the concept of a cruise for everyone goes. I really do believe between budget, mass market and top of the line everyone can afford a vacation at sea. I remember when CLIA told us 9 percent of North Americans cruised and in 2008 that number jumped to 13 percent. With new berths coming on line let's see if can't fill them up!

a little late in responding, but we enjoyed liverpool (both the city and visiting a daughter and granddaughter). i did manage to nail down a liverpool-based food and travel story, which ran last week in the boston globe:

It's been so long!
This is great. Wish I'd known about it sooner.
Things are good in NY. How have you been?
