Hi,
I will be travelling around the galapagos islands end of march and I'd welcome any tips about phographic equipment that is needed.
I do have a camera body (planning to get a second one before I go), flushgun (altough I know use would be limited by the current regulation), a 16-85mm nikon lens, a 70-200 nikon lens.
What else would be indispensable vs nice to have?
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE advice ;-)

Backup batteries. Netbook, or small computer to unload/store photos for viewing. I found it helpful to review my photos each day, so I could go back and get better ones (if possible) or adjust my settings for better outcome.
Some animals you will be seeing from an undulating boat. A monopod might give you some stability.
Are you doing a cruise or land-based tour? You'll have a blast. Enjoy.
It would include both, cruise plus visiting some islands. Thank you!
Hi Diego,
Any specific advice? I am not an expert, I took some pics with a disposable underwater Kodak once.

I would suggest a 2x Extender, won't cost much and it will get you out to 400mm. Also bring a rain cover for your camera. March can be rainy. Monopod. And since the best camera is the one you have with you I would suggest a small Canon G12 as a backup, always with you, camera. Have a great trip, safe travels.
