Cozumel, Mexico

I am going on a cruise in April and will be stopping in Cozumel, Mexico for a day. What do you recommend doing at that port that will be a real cultural experience?

There a couple of excellent excursions available that will tour the ancient Mayan ruins and give you some insights to the history of the island and the Mayan people. There is also an excellent museum in the city that have a wealth of artifacts that have been uncovered.
