ISO Budget-Friendly Recommendation for Hawaii Wedding in November + Honeymoon

Where is the best Budget Friendly recommendation for Hawaii?  Considering Big Island, HI.  Any great deals?  Traveling Nov 13th-20th and then off to Honeymoon-need something close and about 1500.00 or less for 3-4 days to be back by Thanksgiving.

Hi ... best budget accommodations can be found in Hilo but choices are limited (see Hilo Hawaiian). If you decide on the Kona side of the island, there are more choices. Kailua-Kona hotels will probably be the least expensive (checkout Royal Kona Resort), then Keauhou area hotels (perhaps Outrigger Hotels) and most expensive will be in South Kohala.

Hope this helps.
Thanks for the advise. I would like to ask if you had a choice where would you prefer a wedding ceremony in HI? We are looking at a sunset beach wedding and renting private villas. We have a budget of 6-7,000 for the wedding/air and our villa needs to accomodate 4 ppl. The reception will be back here in Iowa. The Honeymoon we have budgeted 1-1500.00. However, if I fall in love with a location..I would be willing to reconsider our budget and make it happen. I really want a magical location as we are celebrating our marriage, 50th anniversay and my daughters graduation all in one shot. Thanks!
Not sure how they fit in with your budget, but we loved the Holualoa Inn, a Kona Coffee Estate/B&B on the hills overlooking the ocean. It's gorgeous, quiet, romantic, close enough to all the Kailua-Kona action but small enough to feel remote and private. I've been to the Big Island four times now and, other than private home rentals, it's the most romantic place we've stayed.
The Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa on Hawaii's Big Island offers great budget accommodations for your honeymoon and/or gorgeous wedding venue for your unique Hawaiian wedding. Our wedding packages start at just $795 (the Pu'uwai Aloha Package which means "Love of the Heart") and includes our secluded Kings' Knoll wedding site, guitarist for an hour, minister and fresh flower lei's...this is the best value wedding package on the Kohala Coast! Feel free to check out our wedding information and see photos at www.weddings.waikoloabeachmarriott.com. Or contact the hotel directly at 808-886-6789. Best of luck and Congratulations!
Perfect. I do recall the sunset at Knoll's were amazing. I will have to take a look. Thanks for all the great advice and assistance everyone! You have given me much food for thought and a direction to begin in.
If you're going to the Big Island I recommend staying on the Kona or West side of the island as there is more to see and do in that region. The East side or Hilo is know for being near the Volcano which is a must do. The drive from Kona is about 2 hours and it's really beautiful. The Kona coast is dotted with large luxurious 5 star resorts that are beautiful and pricey. I believe one of the most reasonable properties in Kona is the King Kamehameha Kona Beach hotel. It's located in the heart of Kona and walking distance from many attractions and shopping. Our company offers a terrific tour of the Volcano as well as some one-day excursions from Kona.
