Allan, can you be more clarify - are you referring to a Metro line? And if so, which number would that be - there are several 'green' lines.
Yes, let me clear that up, it is the metro line I am referring to. More specifically line 12 going to the Palais des Congrès.
Thank you
Allan, have you considered apartment rentals? I've used AirBnB and VRBO for several stays in Paris. For 3/4 the price of a hotel you get a larger living space, living room, kitchen, most with at least a washer (maybe not a dryer), etc. Plenty of search options. Both sites connect you with the owner/manager of the apartments, homes. I prefer AirBnB just a bit more. That site keeps your rent money until after your first night of stay, then releases the money to the owner. VRBO you pay the owner/manager directly, most times through Paypal, some do debit/credit. I just feel more secure using AirBnB, but have never been burn by either. I have several other friends who have used both sites. We've rented apartments all over the world for stays over 2 nights (I don't feel like the hassle for just such a short stay). Staying in a flat is a much nicer feeling of being a local, in my opinion.
Is there a reason to stay in that area? I'm just asking because personally I prefer a bit closer to the center of Paris, and with the great metro and large number of stations almost any place is within 20 minute metro ride from city center. Having said that, the 18th arrondissement is my favorite area, but not everyone's cup of tea since it's a bit far from the center. And the 4th and 5th are nice near all the "sights."
Regards,
Terry
