Amboseli National Park Safari
Amboseli in Maasai language means “place of water” .The Park has an endless supply of water which is filtered through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro. Vast herd of elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and leopards are the main attraction. 3 Days Itinerary for Amboseli National Park
Day 1.Nairobi – Amboseli
You will be picked from your designated place at 08:00 hrs by our Van and we drive southwest to Amboseli national park, Amboseli national park, passing through the Athi Plains where formerly the Burchell‟s zebra, the Maasai giraffe and smaller herbivores roamed about freely. With human encroachment the wildlife is confined to game parks. There is an advantage to this because one has to drive inside a park to be rewarded with the sight of many different species of animals.
Arrive Amboseli in time for lunch, check in at Kibo Safari Camp; embark on an afternoon game viewing in the park at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro (19,340 ft). In the late afternoon one is likely to see a lion or cheetah make a kill. Ideal photography opportunities with Mount Kilimanjaro highest mountain in Africa providing a beautiful back drop. Return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 02: Amboseli Full Day
Breakfast will be served at 08:00am, we board our vans with parked lunch and depart to the park, we look for the big 5 and other animals. Lunch will be served at The Observation Hill located in the middle of the park. We continue with game drives returning to the camp for swimming and other ball games. Dinner will be served at 8:00pm later we all meet at the Fire-point for Maasai dance.
Day 3.Amboseli - Nairobi
Early morning Game drive on sunrise when predators are active and on return to the lodge have breakfast, game drive enroute as you depart Amboseli for Nairobi across the Maasai country enlivened by these proud warriors, and wild life scattered at the plains usually with the close proximity to the domestic livestock. Arrive Nairobi late in the afternoon
