Discount pricing and rudeness

Just interested in knowing how many owners/managers are experiencing rudeness from prospective renters in this economic climate? The link above is to a page I wrote (for consumers) re: how to go about getting a discount. Many owners and managers I've spoken to are willing to deal, but feeling really beaten down by disrespectful folks who think they can demand bargain-basement prices because business is down.
