I'm currently working as a Producer / Director doing television and video production. I'm planning to switch into a new career and open a culinary tour company in Hawaii. Initially the focus will be on single and multi-day tour offerings throughout the islands. I would also like to later expand and specialize in culinary tours across the Asia / Pacific region
On which destinations & travel topics can you advise members especially well?

Other travel / language expertise?

Its a Thriller that takes place in NYC. Check it out - Let Me Die Quietly.
I work on this in my spare time - I'm the Executive Producer.
Are you on Twitter? You should check out ChefMark - he was on an HTA tour of Hawaii as a blogger and blogged a lot about island cuisine.
Good afternoon, Mark, and welcome to Go-Lo! It's wonderful to have you with us -- and we think you'll find our site productive as well as interesting and enjoyable.
To get the most out of the site, you may want to take a few minutes to join several of our many groups which you might find of particular interest such as
Hawaii, Eat/Drink the World, and various others covering many topics and most destinations throughout the world.
FYI, on your profile you'll see a blue bar marked "Text Box," which you can turn into a box containing not just text but also photos and even videos about your organization.
Finally, if you would, please be so kind as to spread the word among your travel-interested friends, family, colleagues, and clients. It's fast and easy to use our "INVITE" function above left on the navigation bar to enter e-mails (even your whole list at once!).
We wish you a great rest of the summer, best of luck in 2009 and beyond, and look forward to hearing more from you... !
