At 11:03am on August 8, 2010, Mary E Gallagher said…: Rebecca: I wish I would have known that but it was a press trip for the inaugural flight of Air Jamaica from the US to Grenada (a few years back) and unfortunately I was severely injured unable to make any decisions or know anything about the available care. The NY PR people on the trip and the manager of the Spice Islands Resort apparently did what they thought was right and had no idea of another hospital. I left the hospital more injured than when I went in just in case you ever have a question regarding their "committment" to care.
I was airlifted in the nick of time to Florida it does take the evacuation planes a while to get to the Island.
