From its creation Retiro Maya was conceived as a yoga, meditation & spiritual and wellness center, ideally situated to enable yoga and spiritual teachers to conduct retreats in an exquisite location. The center provides a peaceful and quiet environment to refresh and recharge in communion with nature, as well as vegetarian meals, therapeutic massages, holistic treatments and personalized attention from Lu, the owner.
In recent years we have been fortunate to have some of the finest teachers lead yoga & spiritual workshops at our Center. These teachers have been delighted to provide intensive yoga and spiritual teachings to their pupils in an uplifting environment while experiencing the wonders of nearby Mayan sites and all that the area has to offer spiritually, culturally and scenically.
