Are you connected to the tourism/travel/hospitality industries or travel media in any way? If so, please specify how (kindly include any relevant company names/Web sites!).: I have owned and operated a storefront travel agency in Durham, North Carolina for over 25 years. I have a team of well-travelled, experienced and passionate travel professionals with an average of over 20 years of industry experience. We're all specialists in different parts of the World and different types of travel covering the entire World of leisure, group and corporate travel.I also host expeienced independent contractors in other parts of the US who want a hands-on, personalized experience.

On which destinations & travel topics can you advise members especially well?: I personally am most knowledgeable and experienced in the Caribbean, whether by land or by sea; Florida; family travel; girls getaways and theme parks. I'm also fairly advanced with marketing including both traditional media and social media.

What destinations are you most interested in learning about?: At this point I would say Europe as I travelled there more prior to my days as a travel agent and am ready to experience the different cultures there again.

Other travel / language expertise?: I did spend one year of college in Israel. I do employ an agent who is fluent in several languages.
