Are you connected to the tourism/travel/hospitality industries or travel media in any way? If so, please specify how (kindly include any relevant company names/Web sites!).: I am a freelance writer; I have done a few travel pieces for Edge.com, which has several local portals throughout the US. One of my pieces was reprinted at franceguide.com the official French website for tourism.

On which destinations & travel topics can you advise members especially well?: Provence, France; Zurich, Switzerland; Northern Italy.

What destinations are you most interested in learning about?: Western Europe and South American, and Latin America.

Other travel / language expertise?: Don't walk around late at night alone carrying a camera and an iPod. I had some close scares, haha!
