If you’re heading to Spain’s famous Costa del Sol, you’re likely to visit Málaga, its capital. This city has a rich history in which you’ll want to immerse yourself. Ataranzas Market
Málaga’s central market is an essential element of daily life in the city. You simply can’t miss out on seeing this wonderful place while you’re in Málaga. You’ll find not only gorgeously fresh produce but also affordable prices. As if that wasn’t enough, it also has a beautiful building, adorned with a glass canopy. Make sure to take a look at the lovely stained-glass window. While you’re at the market, have a tapa and drink at one of the bars on site.
Roman Amphiheater
The most impressive ancient monument in the area was forgotten about and only rediscovered in the mid-20th century. It has numerous seating tiers, as well as a visitor centre that displays a number of the finds that have been made at the site.
Don’t miss out on seeing the birthplace of Pablo Picasso on Plaza de la Merced. It’s situated very close to the city’s main landmarks. Make time to see the village’s historic quarter. There are many lovely little shops and tiled wall displays you’ll want to linger by and admire. Fragiliana is the perfect destination for a day trip. Remember to take lots of pictures while you explore this nearby village.
