Welcome to Beautiful Ayia Napa, Cyrpus' Largest Beach Resort

Here on the upper east coast of Greek Cyprus, you'll find some of the country's most stunning beaches as well as historic churches, excellent cuisine, magnificent nature, and a variety of entertainment and activities both adult- and family-oriented (including the island's most lively nightclubs and Europe's largest theme park). There's so much to do, but here are my top five:

Walk in Cape Greco Nature Park

Cape Greco is a park with lovely hiking paths and pristine natural landscape. There are around 16 km of footpaths for visitors and about 4 km of bike routes.

You may discover the lovely countryside surrounded by the crystal blue waters of this park where you can swim and dive.

The sea caves, Chapel Ayioi Anargyroi and the love bridge are some of the main attractions of Cape Greco.

The Monastery of Ayia Napa

One of the most visited monuments and the image of the Virgin Mary of Napa is housed at Ayia Napa Monastery.
It seems like a fortress circa 1500 AD thus the construction is impressive. You may also see magnificent art, lovely gardens and a sycamore tree, which is almost 600 years old, in addition to its architecture. This is certainly one of Ayia Napa's finest things!

Enjoy the Local Food

In Ayia Napa you may enjoy excellent food in many beautiful restaurants. From traditional Cypriot cuisine and Libyan food to fresh mexican dishes and seafood you can eat anything.
I suggest visiting the Sesoula Kalamaki Restaurants, En Yevo Tavernaki Restaurants, ZAATAR Living Arts Syrian Cuisine, Sage Restaurants.

Spectacular Diving

If you want to sprinkle in the water, you might try diving while you are on vacation. Ayia Napa is an excellent location to learn how to dive and a wonderful spot for those who are experienced. In order to explore the two cavities, tunnels and canyons in addition to the rocky sea that is surrounding the city, Cape Greco and Protaras have magnificent rock formations beneath the sea.

It's certainly one of the greatest things for adventure lovers in Ayia Napa! The best beaches in Cyprus you can find on 1001beach.com

View the caverns of the sea

At least once during your stay in Cyprus, you should visit the sea caves. The wondes that struck the cliffs over the ages produced the magnificent rocky structures of the sea cave.

Today, maritime groves are the ideal place to snorkel, swim and dive in the magnificent natural cellars. The greatest attraction is the cave that has a natural window of the beautiful sea cellars - it is one of the most popular photographic places in Cyprus. But other caverns are also accessable by foot.

NOTE: If you go swimming and explore the grottoes, use the right shoes since certain rocks may be extremely sharp.

Go on an excursion by boat

One of Ayia Napa's most popular trips is to explore the coast by boat.

Several boat excursions are available each day in the peak season from Ayia Napa. Others boating excursions are familiar, some are romantic, and some have loud music and beverages a little crazy.

One of the greatest things about the boat excursions, however, is that you can view from a different perspective Ayia Napa's gorgeous shoreline and have the chance to swim in the finest spots of the island.
