On the Everest Base camp trek, we reach the height of 5545 meters (Kala Pattar), and are well within the reach of the average hill walker. If you have ever longed to set eyes on our highest mountain, then the view from Everest base camp will stay with you forever. Here you will find the most breathtaking scenery in all the Himalayas. Everest base camp Trekking. From Kathmandu we fly up to Lukla, the Everest base camp trek starts here, and we begin our adventure landing at this tiny airstrip. The next few days are spent trekking through the heartland of the Sherpa people. We will stay in lodges run by the Sherpas themselves or our staff settle tents camp if you choose Camping trekking arrangements. Passing Buddhist monasteries with the views of Everest getting closer everyday. We will have rest days in the villages of Namche Bazaar. This will allow us to explore the region and to acclimatize, which is very important. Although this trek is called the Everest base camp trek, our goal is the summit of Kala Pattar, which is higher than Everest base camp, with awe-inspiring views of Nuptse and Everest with the Khumbu Glacier After trekking to Kala Pattar, we then return at a leisurely pace back to Namche and Lukla for our flight back to Kathmandu. Day to Day Everest Base Camp-Kalapattar Trekking Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, transfers to Hotel
Day 02 : Rest day at Kathmandu and Sightseeing
Day 03: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla(2866m), trek to Phakding(2652m)
Day 04: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar(3440m)
Day 05: Rest day at Nmache Bazaar exploring to Khumjung village(3790m)
Day 06: Trek Namche Bazaar to Thyangboche(3867m)
Day 07: Trek Thyangboche to Pheriche(4243m)
Day 08: Trek Pheriche to Lobuche(4930m)
Day 09: Trek Lobuche to Gorakshep(5288m)
Day 10: Trek Gorakshep to Kala Pattar(5545m) and Everest BC(5245m) and Lobuche.
Day 11: Trek Lobuche to Dingboche(4530m)
Day 12: Trek Dingboche to Thyangboche
Day 13: Trek Thyangboche to Namche Bazaar
Day 14: Trek Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Day 15: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfers to Hotel.
Day 16: Rest day at Kathmandu
Day 17: Departure your destination
