EBC TREK ROUTE OVERVIEW

The itinerary of the Everest Base Camp Trek 12 days accelerates its route with half an hour of the dazzling mountain flight to Lukla from the Tribhuvan International airport at Kathmandu. On the onset of the trek, the alleyway runs along the Dudh Kosi River crossing the charismatic blooming forest of Rhododendron, eye-catching Buddhist habitats and monasteries piloting to Namche Bazaar, a teeming bazaar.

12 DAYS EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK  - NAMCHE BAZAAR & TYANGBOCHE

The Namche bazaar is the idyllic recess place for the tired trekkers. From here the trek persists via the captivating path full of surprises from mother-nature eventually escorting to the divine Tyangboche, an old Buddhist monastery. Then the trek routes towards Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorakshep. Thereupon the trek carries on towards the quest of Everest Base Camp and entices towards Kala Patthar. Concluding the quest of Mount Everest Base Camp, the trek will re-route back to the Lukla airstrip and Kathmandu.

BEST TIME FOR EVEREST BASE CAMP 

The best time to visit Everest Base Camp is based on the capabilities you're planning to do while you're in there. You can go trekking in spring (March-May) or fall (October-November), while a helicopter visit can be taken whenever the atmosphere outside the storm season is appropriate. Winter should not be off the table either; you would be fortunate to receive absolutely clear mountain views as long as you are set up for cold temperatures.

HOW FAR IS EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK

The trek to Everest Base Camp usually takes 12 days to complete a full 130 km loop. It takes 8 days to get a chance to Base Camp to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view and go down for four days, separated by nine days of long trekking and three days of short trekking acclimatization.

IS THE EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK DIFFICULT
