Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, lies on crossroads of two the world's great civilizations – China and India. Buddhism has great influence on everyday life of the people. The region has its own centers and small secret towns.  For instance Yangon is cultural centre of Myanmar; Shwedagon Pagoda - the world largest buddhist temple, keps reliquiae of 4 Buddhas; Buddhist stupas.

It is also famous and well-known through its fascinating nature and amazing lakes. Inle Lake: pile villages; floating vegetable gardens; floating market; Monastery of Jumping Cats; unique cloth made of lotus stalk fibres.
