So every once a while, there's a story you really, really want to do. I have one coming up next month: I'm covering the Agatha Christie Festival in Torquay, England. The festival is held every year, but this year is a big one, as it's the 120th anniversary of Dame Agatha's birth. As a dedicated fan, I've read all the books, seen all the films and BBC programs. And now I'll get to visit Christie's home, see her manuscripts, typewriters, memorabilia--and the garden of poisonous plants used to knock off her victims.

Can't wait! http://bit.ly/cC4Sx3

Have a great trip, Lillian! I wrote a blog post here about Dame Agatha and this area this past spring. Feel free to draw upon it.

Which hotel was it? Not the Pera Palace, by any chance?

I am not as well read in the Christie cannon as you are, but I was thrilled to visit a hotel where she stayed, and I would love it if a casting director chose me to play Miss Marple! Have a good time, and be careful in the garden.
