1. Check all your documents and back them up

If you’re going to be relying on withdrawing from a bank or using a credit card then check that your cards will work in that country. Try to always make sure you have some local cash with you, just in case you’re in a pinch.

      3. Learn more about the place you’re going to visit

Having more information about the place you’re going to visit helps. In particular you may want to check any travel advisory or safety notices that may be present. Also you should check out travel guides and shows that will help you get an idea of what you can expect, the places you may want to see, and any local customs that you should be aware of.
